If you have a 4×4 vehicle and can help take stranded staff to and from hospitals and community services this weekend, we want to hear from you!
As you’re probably aware, the extreme weather has been hampering travel to work, and that’s the same for hospital staff across the county.
We urgently need volunteers with 4×4 vehicles to help get our healthcare staff in and out of our hospitals and community locations across Dorset, tonight between 5pm – 8pm and tomorrow morning from 6am onwards. We are especially in need of staff transport in the west Dorset region.
Obviously we don’t want to put anyone at risk, so please only volunteer if you feel confident driving in these conditions and have a 4×4 vehicle that can make it through the snow and ice.
