Here at NHS Dorset CCG we are concerned that the proposals developed as part of the Clinical Services Review are being misrepresented.
We recognise that there is concern nationally about the future of the NHS, but we want to be absolutely clear that we are not conducting this review in order to privatise local services; any claims that this is the case are inaccurate.
As everyone will be aware, the NHS faces a number of future challenges, and these proposals have been developed to ensure that everybody in Dorset can continue to access safe, high-quality healthcare, which makes the most of clinical advances and best practice and is sustainable and affordable in the long-term.
